It is very important to be aware of all employment rights when working in Ireland. It is essential that workers know, preferably in advance, about such matters as: employment contracts; minimum wage; working time; holiday entitlements; unfair dismissal; complaints procedure, etc. This information is available from the Employment Rights Information booklets published by the Department  of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation.
