The EPIC Programme- Employment for People from Immigrant Communities
The EPIC Programme- Employment for People from Immigrant Communities is a Social Inclusion Programme in Business in the Community Ireland. The aim is to support legally resident migrants from EU and non-EU countries to become economically independent and more socially integrated in Ireland. Services for Families - One Family.
'One Family' is an Organisation which supports people parenting alone or sharing parenting, and their children. They offer a wide range of services to all types of one-parent families, those experiencing a crisis pregnancy and those working with one-parent families.
One Family’s holistic model of specialist family support services works in two ways – firstly, to progress parents on social welfare to take the next step to education, training or employment; and secondly, to provide expert parenting and family supports to people parenting alone or sharing parenting and to those working with one-parent families.

Get Ready - English Language @ Information Workshop for Jobseekers
8th & 15th March 2011, Dundalk
The International Employment Services of FÁS and the Integration Centre, Dublin are organising a 'Get Ready – Career Development Workshop' for Immigrants/ Jobseekers in Dundalk, Co. Louth.
The first part of the Workshop will take place on 8th of March, 4.30pm - 7pm and will concentrate on improving the participant's English skills in the work/ job seeking enviroment.
The Workshop will continue on 15th of March, 4.30pm - 7pm with skills assessment, career planning and FÁS training & work placement opportunities information session.

European and Regional Employment & Advice Fair in Dundalk.
26th & 27th November 2010
The International Employment Services of FÁS and FÁS North East Region, in association with the Dundalk Chamber of Commerce and Marshes Shopping Centre, are organising a Regional/National and European Employment and Advice Fair.
The event will take place in Marshes Shopping Centre and will be open on Friday 26th November from 4.00 pm until 8.00 pm, and Saturday 27th November from 11.00 am until 5.00 pm. Admission is free.
The event will be attended by local and European employers and locally based Employment Advice Agencies. A number of European Member State countries will be at the event with EURES Advisers (specialists in international recruitment) from Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Latvia, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, UK and others available to advise those interested in employment and career development options in their countries.
The event will also host a CV Clinic and Start Your Own Business section. Irish Advice and Welfare Agencies will also be represented including Agencies dealing with Social Welfare, Taxation, Education and Housing.

Fáilte Isteach - free conversational English classes for new migrants.
Fáilte Isteach is a community project with older volunteers welcoming new migrants through conversational English classes. It is a unique project which utilises the skills, talents and expertise of older volunteers and harnesses their desire to contribute positively to society.
Fáilte Isteach works at breaking down the barriers that migrants and communities face by extending the hands of friendship and goodwill through the practical, welcoming and inclusive manner in which the programme is delivered. It is providing more than the transfer of skills and knowledge. It is making a positive difference to everyone involved.

FÁS South West Region and the International Employment Services Unit of FÁS, in association with the Cork Chamber and Mahon Point Shopping Centre, are organising a Regional and European Employment and Advice Fair.
The event will take place in Mahon Point Shopping Centre and will be open on Friday 25th June from 3.00 pm until 8.00 pm, and Saturday 26th June from 10.00 am until 7.00 pm.
The event will be attended by local employers and locally based Employment Advice Agencies. EURES Advisers, who are specialists in international recruitment, from European Member State countries including Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Greece, The Netherlands, Hungary, Norway, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland and UK will also be at the event to advise those interested in employment and career development options in these countries. Free on-line language courses - Tell Me More Online Campus
Dublin City Public Libraries
The Tell Me More on-line language course is available free of charge in the Open Learning Centre, Central Library ILAC Centre. This course offers the student the opportunity to study 8 European languages through 15 Interface languages. One of the interface languages is Polish. The course offers the student a complete learning path from beginners level to advanced / business. Study hours are logged, and a Certificate of Attendance issued to students of the Open Learning Centre after 50 hours of study. A TOEIC test is generated free of charge after 40 hours of study on Tell Me More Campus.
