Community Training Centres

Community Training Centres are independent community-based organisations funded by FÁS, and at the cutting edge of youth development. They look after the training and employment needs of early school leavers, primarily aged between 16 and 21. The Community Training Centres are the FÁS response to the Youthreach measure. See full details on Eligibility.

FÁS provides a  Training Allowance to participants at the Community Training Centres and the training is certified leading to recognised awards on the National Framework of Qualifications.

There are over 40 Community Training Centre Locations around the country.

If you would like any more information about the Community Training Centres, contact your local Employment Services Office.
