Legislation & Consultation

The Construction Skills Certification Scheme was developed following detailed consultation with the social partners (Construction Industry Federation and ICTU), the Health and Safety Authority and specialist working groups. The consultation focused on identifying the training needs and occupational standards required for the different Occupations.

Schedule 4 of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2006   www.hsa.ie provides a list of the occupations which are covered under the Construction Skills Certification Scheme.
