The FAS Retail and Services Unit has developed two retail programmes for workers in this sector.

The aim of the Certificate in Retail Skills Programme (FETAC Level 4) is to provide learners with the necessary skills, knowledge and competency in all aspects of retail operations.

The aim of the Advanced Certificate in Retail Management (FETAC Level 6) is to provide learners with a comprehensive range of skills appropriate to front-line management within the retail sector.
